Getting Started

It's easy to get started creating your website. Knowing some of the basics will help.

What is a Content Management System?

A content management system is software that allows you to create and manage webpages easily by separating the creation of your content from the mechanics required to present it on the web.

In this site, the content is stored in a database. The look and feel are created by a template. Joomla! brings together the template and your content to create web pages.

Logging in

To login to your site use the user name and password that were created as part of the installation process. Once logged-in you will be able to create and edit articles and modify some settings.

Creating an article

Once you are logged-in, a new menu will be visible. To create a new article, click on the "Submit Article" link on that menu.

The new article interface gives you a lot of options, but all you need to do is add a title and put something in the content area. To make it easy to find, set the state to published.

You can edit an existing article by clicking on the edit icon (this only displays to users who have the right to edit).

Template, site settings, and modules

The look and feel of your site is controlled by a template. You can change the site name, background colour, highlights colour and more by editing the template settings. Click the "Template Settings" in the user menu.

The boxes around the main content of the site are called modules. You can modify modules on the current page by moving your cursor to the module and clicking the edit link. Always be sure to save and close any module you edit.

You can change some site settings such as the site name and description by clicking on the "Site Settings" link.

More advanced options for templates, site settings, modules, and more are available in the site administrator.

Site and Administrator

Your site actually has two separate sites. The site (also called the front end) is what visitors to your site will see. The administrator (also called the back end) is only used by people managing your site. You can access the administrator by clicking the "Site Administrator" link on the "User Menu" menu (visible once you login) or by adding /administrator to the end of your domain name. The same user name and password are used for both sites.

Learn more

There is much more to learn about how to use Joomla! to create the web site you envision. You can learn much more at the Joomla! documentation site and on the Joomla! forums.

A clean read with no irritations, and a look at alpineharborvendorstudio continued that frictionless quality, the absence of small irritations is something I notice only when present elsewhere and this site is one of the rare places where everything just works and lets me focus on the substance rather than fighting the format.

Long time lurker here, but I figured I would share how I pick an online casino these days. After a few bad experiences I stopped trusting the big banners.

First thing is the licence: check who regulates the site, and whether they actually accept players from your country. Next come deposits and withdrawals: card, e-wallets and bank transfer should all be there, and cashout times should be listed up front.

The welcome offer is where most people get caught. Wagering of 35x or 40x is normal, and some games count less towards it. A good recent review that covers all of this is worth a read here play at Craybet before you deposit anything.

I play almost only on my phone, and a good site loads fast and does not log you out every five minutes. Ask support one simple question first: slow or scripted answers usually mean trouble later.

That is about it. Only play with money you can afford to lose.

Long time lurker here, so here is what I look at before signing up anywhere. After a few bad experiences I stopped going by ads alone.

Licence comes first for me: see which authority is listed in the footer, because some sites quietly block certain regions. After that I look at banking: card, e-wallets and bank transfer should all be there, and the withdrawal limits need to be written clearly.

Never judge a site by the bonus alone. Wagering of 35x or 40x is normal, and live tables often do not count at all. A decent independent write-up with the current terms is worth a read here Rolletto before you deposit anything.

Most of my sessions are on mobile, and if there is an app I make sure it comes from the official page. Support matters too: if they answer in a couple of minutes that is a good sign.

That is about it. Set a budget and stick to it.

Mostly a reader, rarely post, thought I would drop how I pick an online casino these days. After trying maybe a dozen sites I stopped trusting the big banners.

I always start with licensing: check who regulates the site, because some sites quietly block certain regions. Next come deposits and withdrawals: crypto is a plus but not a must, and there should be no weird fees on cashouts.

Never judge a site by the bonus alone. Anything above 40x rollover is a red flag for me, and live tables often do not count at all. A useful overview with bonus rules, app info and payment methods is here gamblezen casino login and it saved me some time.

On mobile I mostly use the browser version, so I check how the lobby works on a small screen. Ask support one simple question first: if they answer in a couple of minutes that is a good sign.

Hope this helps someone. Treat it as entertainment, not income.

Been reading this board for a while, so here is what I look at before signing up anywhere. After getting burned once or twice I stopped going by ads alone.

First thing is the licence: see which authority is listed in the footer, and whether they actually accept players from your country. After that I look at banking: card, e-wallets and bank transfer should all be there, and cashout times should be listed up front.

Bonuses are the tricky part. Wagering of 35x or 40x is normal, and live tables often do not count at all. A useful overview with bonus rules, app info and payment methods can be found here Trino Casino before you deposit anything.

I play almost only on my phone, so I check how the lobby works on a small screen. Ask support one simple question first: if they answer in a couple of minutes that is a good sign.

That is about it. Treat it as entertainment, not income.

Long time lurker here, thought I would drop how I pick an online casino these days. After getting burned once or twice I learned to read the small print first.

First thing is the licence: see which authority is listed in the footer, and if your country is on the allowed list. Then payments: I want at least one fast e-wallet option, and cashout times should be listed up front.

The welcome offer is where most people get caught. Wagering of 35x or 40x is normal, and some games count less towards it. A decent independent write-up with the current terms is worth a read here gamblezen casino login before you deposit anything.

Licence comes first for me: find the licence number and look it up, because some sites quietly block certain regions. Next come deposits and withdrawals: I want at least one fast e-wallet option, and the withdrawal limits need to be written clearly.

Never judge a site by the bonus alone. Read the wagering and the max bet rule, and the bonus usually expires in a week or two. A useful overview with bonus rules, app info and payment methods is here bonus at Revery Play and it saved me some time.

I play almost only on my phone, and if there is an app I make sure it comes from the official page. Support matters too: a real human reply beats a bot loop.

Anyway, that is my routine. Treat it as entertainment, not income.

My reading list is short and selective and this site is now on it, and a stop at apricotharborartisancollective confirmed the placement, the short list of sites I read deliberately rather than encounter accidentally is something I curate carefully and adding to it is a real act of trust which this site has earned today.

Now thinking I want more sites built on this kind of editorial foundation, and a stop at alpineharborvendorstudio extended that wish into a broader hope, sites built on substance and care rather than on metrics and growth are the kind of sites I want to see more of and this one is a small example worth supporting.
